Fairmead students have been riding rollercoasters and speeding down slides today at our annual trip to Crealy sponsored by The Rotary Club.
Some fearless students rode the Flying Dutchman – a stomach lurching pirate boat ride and the Runaway Train hell raising rollercoaster. For students preferring something a little more sedate their were carousel rides. For those who didn’t mind a damp bottom there was a Log Flume ride. There were also some giant slides which were perfect for staff and students to race each other to the bottom.
The day was bright and sunny so we were able to eat our packed lunches outside on the picnic tables before hitting the Soft Play area for some tumbling and falling onto crash mats. There was also some high beams and climbing apparatus which all the students enjoyed.
The students were brilliantly behaved and on the coach home were already asking whether we could go again next year.
