Fairmead’s friends, families and governors got out their magic markers for the school’s annual Christmas bingo night on Tuesday.
Bingo caller for the night was none other than Fairmead’s very own Inclusion Manager Steve Coles, who called for ‘eyes down’ at 6.30pm.
If you won a line then you received a box of chocolates or an advent calendar, but if you got a full house then you won vouchers for day trips to places such as the Somerset Steam Railway at Minehead or Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford. There was also a tombola drawn by Headteacher Diana Denman.
There were ten games of bingo over the course of the event, which was superbly attended and raised nearly £500 towards school funds.
