Parent & Family Support Adviser | FAIRMEAD SCHOOL
FAIRMEAD SCHOOL

Parent & Family Support Adviser

The role of a Parent & Family Support Adviser (PFSA) is to work directly with children, their parents/carers and other agencies and services.

Our aims include strenghtening and increasing communication between home and school ensuring parents/carers are aware of help and advice available through other agencies, encouraging parents/carers to take an active part in their child’s education and learning and providing opportunities for parents/carers to meet through regular organised events.

I am not a teacher, social worker or health worker.  I am part of the school workforce and am able to offer independent advice and flexible support and guidance.

Leaflets outlining the role of the PFSA are available from our school reception area.

I can be contacted through the school or you can call or email me direct.
