Pumpkins and pirates were the high point for students visiting the Bailey Ridge Pumpkin Patch on Tuesday.
Students in Newton and Purple learning groups went shopping for pumpkins at the garden centre near Sherborne, and also enjoyed fun and games with Captain Pete the pirate.
Lead teacher Amy Huskisson said: ‘We visited the big field of pumpkins and played Hide and Spook and Musical Statues with a scary pirate!’
The students had to choose four pumpkins and then get them weighed and paid for as part of their maths lesson.
LSA Luke Shepherd commented: ‘Thank you Bailey Ridge, it was a lovely day out for the students and staff’.
