Somerset Direct

The SEN Duty line is now being hosted through Somerset Direct. All calls in relation to the SEND Statutory process should now go via the Children’s Contact Centre (previously known as Somerset Direct). This provides longer opening hours and has more operatives available to answer calls, who can then provide advice, guidance and signpost callers as necessary. We ensure that Somerset Direct have a senior member of the team available to provide support and this approach has been working really well over the summer. To continue with the development of this work, please can you direct your enquires to The Contact Centre, Children’s Services in the first instance on 0300 123 2224 option 1 children’s services followed by option 3 for SEND.
