Lucky sixth formers and Year 11s were invited to a special charity concert with tribute band Just Take That.
Staff and students went to the Octagon Theatre Monday evening at 7.30pm and enjoyed singing and dancing along to 90’s boy band Take That – well not the real Take That with Robbie, Mark, Jason, Gary and Howard – but a great imitation. There was also a poetry recital by a local poet.
The event was organised by the Hidden Needs Trust – a local charity that supports children with Special Educational Needs.
HLTA Sarah Harding said: ‘We had a fantastic time, loads of singing and dancing. They did a Beatles’ Medley, which I had to get up and dance along to with one of our students who is a massive Beatles and Take That fan’.
Lots of other schools attended and the theatre was packed out.
A big thank you to the Hidden Needs Trust for offering us tickets, and to all the Fairmead staff who supported our young people during this amazing night out in Yeovil.
